Simply Clean has compiled a list of frequently asked questions from our clients.
I have listed them here to help you learn more about what to expect when you book with us.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and checks.
If you will not be home, please leave your payment on the kitchen counter so it is easily visible.
Do I have to be home during my cleaning?
No, you do not have to be home. You are welcome to leave a key or a garage code which many clients do.
If you will not be home, we will discuss lock up instructions on securing your home prior to your cleaning.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes! We love all furry friends!
However, it is advised to keep pets kenneled during cleanings or put them in a secured area for their safety.
Do you have helpers or am I able to hire a crew?
I do bring an assistant when I clean larger scale jobs such as move in/move out cleans.
I use the same assistant every time.
They have been trained accordingly, exhibit the highest level of professionalism and are just as skilled in making your home look and smell great!
Do I have to provide anything?
No, you do not. I provide all of my own supplies.
I do recommend that we use your vacuum if you have pets or allergies of any kind, however, it is not required.
Do you use vinegar to clean with?
No, we do not. While vinegar is a great disinfectant, we do not use it to clean professionally. We use only top of the line all natural cleaning solutions such as Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day, Seventh Generation and Clorox Green Works.
What is your cancellation policy?
Simply Clean understands that life is complicated.
We do ask for a minimum notice of at least 48 hours. This way, we have the ability to schedule another client in your place.
Sometimes, we are able to book another client in this short amount of time with prior notice.
Unfortunately many times, we are not.
Cancellations without at least 48 hours notice are subject to a 20 dollar cancellation fee, made payable upon the next cleaning.
Each time slot is set aside specifically for you.
Multiple cancellations leave us in a bind as we do not overbook our schedule.
While this is a last resort, it may become necessary to discontinue services for multiple cancellations.
Do you charge any fees for commuting?
I do charge a 20 dollar travel expense for areas outside of 20 minutes from my immediate area. (76010)
plus any applicable tolls.
Do you accept tips?
We love when our clients want to show appreciation! It always makes us smile.
Tips are not expected nor required, but very much appreciated.
We love to serve you and enjoy the satisfaction of leaving you with a home that is ready for you to live in and love.
